IQ Security | ‘Reveal Password Control’ added to logon screen

Overview:

‘Reveal password control’ (small eye icon) was added to the logon password field. 

Clicking said button will

temporarily reveal an already typed in password that’s otherwise masked by asterisks. 

Password will only be displayed whilst clicking and holding in mouse button (during which time icon will turn blue); releasing mouse button will hide it again. 

Note [!]:

It goes without saying but users should be vigilant when making use of said feature as others might spot password during reveal (however fleeting it might be)

Unfortunately there is know way to switch it off.
